Guided Visit

A guided visit to Oatlands is far from a tour, it is an hour with a public historian or educator, enabling you to immerse yourself in the site’s history across a wide range of topics.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your mansion visit and check in at the Visitor Center in the Carriage House. Tours start promptly at the designated time.

All guided experiences enable you to stay as long as you want, so plan to leave enough time to explore the gardens, have a picnic or take a hike.

Guided visits of the mansion are offered Thursday through Sunday at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Walk-ins accepted if space is available.

Please note:

Advanced purchase of visits must be done 24 hours prior.

On July 26, we will have an 11 a.m. mansion tour but not a 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. tour.

Due to a scheduling issue, we will not be able to offer mansion tours on August 2.
