Guided Visit

A guided visit to Oatlands is far from a tour, it is an hour with a Public Historian or Educator, enabling you to immerse yourself in the site’s history across a wide range of topics with depth, guided by those with expertise.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your mansion visit and check in at the Carriage House Visitor Center. Tours start promptly at the designated time.

All Guided experiences enable you to stay as long as you want, so plan to leave enough time to explore the gardens, have a picnic or take a hike.

Guided visits are offered on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. Walk-ins accepted if space available.

Please note:

Advanced purchase of visits must be done 24 hours prior.

No 11am tour on December 4. Please call 703-727-0670 to purchase advance tickets for 1pm and 3pm.
