Mother’s Day Tea | May 12
Join us on May 12 for Tea in Oatlands’ Carriage House. An elegant Mother’s Day themed tea is booking now at Oatlands Historic House and Gardens. Come join us for a traditional English Tea held in the historic Carriage House. You will enjoy traditional English scones, Devon cream, classic tea sandwiches and sweets, local preserves, and Oatlands’ exclusive tea blend.
Seating’s at 10:30, 12:30, and 2:30pm

Please Note: The Garden Tour on April 21 and the Bluebird Walk on May 19 only take place at 11:00 & 1:00.
All Guided experiences enable you to stay as long as you want, so plan to leave enough time to explore the gardens, have a picnic or take a hike.

Guided Visit
A guided visit to Oatlands is far from a tour, it is an hour with a Public Historian or Educator enabling you to immerse yourself in the site’s history across a wide range of topics with depth, guided by those with expertise. Specialized experiences including: Oatlands: The Plantation, Oatlands’s Eustis Revival, Architecture, The Women of Oatlands, The Gardens, and the Landscape of Slavery rotate throughout the month, check our Events Calendar for up-to-date details, and reserve your spot before they sell out!
All Guided experiences enable you to stay as long as you want, so plan to leave enough time to explore the gardens, have a picnic or take a hike.

Garden Tickets
Enjoy the four and a half acres of walled gardens including the tea house, yew walk, meditation and herb gardens and the color border…springtime brings the Daffodil Wall and a riot of peonies. Beautiful views and vistas create a perfect place for a picnic to enjoy under the trees at the Carriage House. Dogs are allowed on Oatlands’ property with the exception of the formal garden.
