Garden Rooms

When restoring the gardens in the early 20th century, Mrs. Eustis was inspired by many of the garden design trends of her era, including the Arts and Crafts concept of dividing gardens into “rooms”, each with their own personality and aesthetic. Oatlands gardens today reflect her skillful decision-making, and a number of the garden areas are popular to rent for an event, in particular the Magnolia Garden and the Tea House.
