David F. Williams
David F. Williams is a retired partner of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, where he practiced complex litigation for over three decades and served as Managing Partner of the Washington, D.C. office. A passionate preservationist, he has held leadership roles with the Journey Through Hallowed Ground Partnership, Piedmont Environmental Council, and Oatlands Historic House & Gardens. Williams earned his B.A. from Yale University and J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He and his family own Little Oatlands, a historic property adjoining Oatlands, and he brings decades of expertise in governance, environmental stewardship, and land preservation to the Advisory Council.
