Oatlands is a 400-acre, 200-year-old former plantation, with 20 historic structures, a 4.5-acre Formal Garden, incredible grounds, and 8 miles of equestrian and hiking trails that traverse through the woods and open landscape. We offer educational and interpretation programs, weddings, reunions, events of all kinds, and we have three renovated historic Airbnb’s. Through our research we find people get passionate about one aspect of Oatlands, with that passion growing as they learn about our many other offerings.

The theme through everything we do at Oatlands is based on the philosophy of: A history we share and a future we create. We are working together to tell the full story of Oatlands’ history, with the intent of using that information and learning from each other to build a better future.

Commemorative Brick

Purchase a special brick for $150 ($100 tax-deductible) and it will be engraved with an inscription of your choice. Your engraved brick will join others in our donor walkway at the visitor entrance of Oatlands, and will provide a lasting tribute, not only to those you honor, but also for the preservation of a precious historic site…for Oatlands.
